The Best of British Scrapbooking & Cardmaking
News
News of our Best of British Designers
Since entering our The Best of British Scrapbooking and Cardmaking contest, our designers have continued to contribute to the world of scrapbooking and to life in general!
As of March 21, 2005...
Tracy Canham is now a design team member for one of the UKS sponsors. Here's her Gallery link: www.scrap-in-a-box.co.uk/gallery/Tracy. She has also had three layouts published in one of the Scrapbooking Memories and More issues. She was one of the winners of the challenge issued by UKScrappers and The Best of British Scrapbooking and Cardmaking.
Beverley Fletcher is expecting her second child in July. The scan says she's having a little girl, so Beverley is excited about being able to scrap both blue and pink pages.
Giselle Homer is a now a regular contributor to two magazines -- Popular Crafts and The 12x12 Scrapbooking Magazine.
For Popular Crafts, which as its name implies covers many other crafts besides scrapbooking, Giselle has also written a beginners guide to scrapbooking.
For 12x12 Magazine, Giselle contributes regular items each month: Scrapbook Sketches and the Theory of Colour articles with layouts of a featured colour per month. Plus she submits at least two other general layouts. Starting soon she will be heading up a Question & Answer (Problems) page.
Giselle was invited to the London Studios of The Creative Scrapbooking Magazine, where she did two layouts which were photographed as step-by-step articles and will be featured in May & June. (She says, "I had to have neat fingernails for that one!")
Carrie Howard is getting married in April.
Carole Lydall was one of the winners of the challenge issued by UKScrappers and The Best of British Scrapbooking and Cardmaking.
Venessa Matthews will be the guest instructor at the grand opening of PaperArts.
Joanna Campbell Slan has written a new online journaling class for Writers Online Workshops. The class uses her books Scrapbook Storytelling and One Minute Journaling as references. For more information go to www.writersonlineworkshops.com
Kirsty Webb has commissioned to create an album to mark a 30th birthday.
